PARKRUN 27/10/18
Hi, on Hallowe'en, Here is a round-up of the weekend's events from 27th and 28th October including the results from the Beachy Head Marathon.
A total of 426 runners took part at Southsea parkrun event #266. Gary Cook has already shared the link below which mentioned many of us in The News.It will show at the bottom of this page.

Once again there were some great performances (it happens so often but is still amazing to write about) in good conditions if a little chilly.
Amazingly Baffins Fit Club had FIVE runners completing milestone runs. Michael Rae his 250th (they announced this but not sure if Mike was there as not in the results), Keith Caunt his 150th, Rebecca Niles her 100th (and ran her 2nd fastest too), and Amy Hedley and Lee Collier-Williams their 50ths (dressed as a Tyrannosaurus Rex and Unicorn respectively!)
There was a fast comeback run for Ross Partridge too in 3rd place and a PB here.
Emma Jolley was 1st lady and there were PBs for Lee Hammond 0:56, Paul Ingleby 0:15 ( in amazingly only his 2nd parkun), Matthew Hedley, 0:40, Jon Olsen 0:15, Rich Harris 0:24 (3rd out of last 4), Laura Hyman1:11 (making a great double for her and Jon), Clare Rutter 0:19, (3rd in a row) James Yorke 0:40 (4th out of 5) and Rhian Rudkin 1:03. Liam Turishmade a promising debut.
Emma Jolley had the 3rd best Age-Graded time and I had 7th. Volunteers included Martin James Coumbe, Katherine Newell, Mirinda Bailey and Julian Perkins. Susie Tebbutt made a welcome appearance as a supporter. Great to see you Susie.

If you want to make sure you are included, please consider changing your parkrun profile on the bottom of your results email ( I am not only nagging you Charlotte Louise and I couldn't find your friend Becky)) and putting Baffins Fit Club as your club. That way I definitely won't miss you.I know some belong to other clubs too and I try to remember them.

As you can see Louise was 2nd lady and 10th best Age-Graded time. Also a QE PB by 1:35. Paul equalled his PB here!

On Saturday at the very tough Beachy Head Marathon, I have seen the following times. I walked this course along the Seven Sisters to Eastbourne earlier in the year and it is quite a challenging walk so to run a Marathon takes a lot of strength!
