Parkrun report - Saturday 19th February 2019
Parkrun report for Saturday 16th February 2019 I shall begin unashamedly at Southsea where a total of 506 (2nd highest) runners took part. Adam Barlow is well known to quite a few and he won, just 0:01 outside his PB. However the main news is that he ran it pushing his child in a buggy! Lee Collier-Williams and Sarina Collis kindly ran with Sofie Haidon a partially-sighted runner. Thanks to both of you.Other highlights in near perfect conditions (ie not cold and NO WIND!) were PBs for Alex Yorke by 0:53 paced by hubby James Yorke, a PB for Paul Griffin by 0:04 and Jon Olsen running his 2nd best of 49 runs. Laura Hyman ran her 3rd fastest of 52 at Southsea and Liam John Bradshaw is back in form with his 4th best of 22. David Sharp was just 00:02 outside his best (26 runs). Rob Cooke was also just short of his PB by 0:04.In the age-graded times, Steven Parker was 12th, Michael Rae 9th and I was 4th in my best time since September 2017.

Thanks to the many volunteers including our Helen Mayhead, Mathew Hume, Katherine Newell, Sarah Platts, Bob Platts, Lee Collier-Williams, Sarina Collis, Kevin Aylward and Billy Jules BiltonDarren Linington aggravated an injury and we hope he is not too bad. I thought I saw Tom Heard there but can't see his result.
A total of 280 runners took part at Portsmouth Lakeside parkrun event #146 Reuben Hanson beat his PB by 1:05,Joshua McPheat smashed 1:04 off his best here, Lisa Duke 0:09, Martin Biddle ッ 1:19. Dave Ollie Oliver ran his 2nd best Lakeside time. Alex Millham volunteered.

All 3 Lockes beat there previous times here, a great day for the family. Shelley Locke 's (0:46) was her 2nd best at any parkrun, Hattie's (0:27) was 3rd best and Sonny Locke's was an All-parkrun PB by an astonishing 1:11. If you can't see your result it is probably that you haven't got Baffins as your parkrun club and aren't one of the dual membership runners that I know of.
