Parkrun report - Saturday 25th May 2019

.....and here is a summary of the parkruns from 25th May 2019. A total of 451 runners took part at Southsea parkrun event #298, where we (43 Bafineers!!!) helped Jason Smith (fastest time here in 2019) celebrate his 100th parkrun. cake was had afterwards of course. Emma Jolley was 1st lady in her 10th best time here, and Emma was also 2nd in the age-graded times. Michael Rae was 10th in this category, Steven Parker 13th, me 7th and Fiona Shaw 6th. Fiona Shaw also beat her 3 year-old PB by 0:04 at last after weeks of getting nearer. Tracy Kyle ran a great 0:49 PB and Ian Briscoe, Vicky Anderson and Brenda Bradshaw were very close to their's. Louise Griffin was 4th female finisher. Volunteers included Katherine Newell who has won an award for volunteering, James Yorke, Helen Mayhead, Mike Drain, Verity-Jayne Walton and Sarina Collis.
