Parkrun report from 22nd June 2019

We will begin at Southsea were the Portsmouth Pride march was due to start from the Coffee Cup at 9:30. This shouldn't have been a problem but as they were all congregated on the prom we had a stony diversion around the back of the cafe. Even so there were PBs for Paul Alland 1:38 and an All-parkrun PB too, and for Richard Stevens 1:40. Great improvements both, but 5:37 was the huge amount taken off her previous time by Maxine Kim Priddle!

Emma Jolley was 1st lady and 3rd in age-graded times. Fiona Shaw was 4th, Michael Rae 6th and me 7th in this category. Jo Thompson made her Southsea debut and volunteers included Katherine Newell, Andy Seek and Emily Spencer on a day when many local GPs and other healthcare employees were present to promote the health benefits of parkrun.
