parkrun Review 19th October 2019

A very brief parkrun report from 19th October 2019 as many were either resting for for the Great South Run 10 Miler the following day, taking part in the GSR 5k and Canine races or on Great Salterns trialing a possible new parkrun route.

A total of 927 runners took part at Southampton parkrun event #380. Sonny Locke taking it very easy before the GSR.

A total of 312 runners took part at Portsmouth Lakeside parkrun event #181. At Lakeside, Rebecca Niles didn't take it easy as she was only 0:07 below her fastest time here and Dave Ollie Oliver also ran a quick time. Paul Harrison made his debut here but pride of place goes to Geoffrey Newman who ran a 0:47 PB.
