We begin at Lakeside where Gary Seaman and Barbara Hathaway were our only representatives on the day before the Coastal Half.

A total of 560 (smallest this year but still higher than any before 2020) runners took part at Southsea parkrun event #333. There were PBs for Kylah Collis 00:27 and Jackie Taylor 01:57. Please make sure we all keep quiet while the RD is giving the pre-run briefing. I know the megaphone was not that good and many of you have heard it all before, however, new runners to Southsea need to be able to hear and there may be a new announcement specific to the conditions. Thanks.

There were particularly good runs from Michael Rae, Owen Marshall, Rebecca Niles, Craig Wheatley and Becci Knowles

In the Age-Graded times, Michael Rae was 6th and Amanda Simpson 12th. Mike probably wouldn't have run as fast if he'd known that he was running the Half the next day, in which he did really well.
