Other PBs were run by Kev Budd 1:33, Keith Caunt 0:16, Darren Linington 0:54,Ashleigh Berryman 1:50, Kevin Aylward 0:43. There were debuts for Jessica Smith, daughter Emily Smith and Janet Sampson ( as tailwalker)

There are still 3 volunteer slots available for tomorrow, a marshal, token sorting (post event) and post event close-down. If you can help, the RD will be very happy.

A total of 154 runners took part at Exeter Riverside parkrun event #328, where Jason Smith ran for the 3rd time. The course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths, gravel paths and grass. The course (which has changed after Covid) starts and finishes on Exeter Quay near the marina/boat yard on the south bank of the river Exe. The course is predominantly four sociable laps of a field, making this an off-road course. The start is on the shared path and heads south east through the River Valley Park for approximately 600m before turning right into Bromham’s Field. You turn left at the entrance, to run 4 sociable clockwise laps of the clearly signed and mowed course. The field is not a prepared sports field, so be ready for a few bumps and divots. Once you have completed 4 laps, you come out of the same gateway, turning left, you then fork left to finish on a raised bank flanked by wild flowers.

Unfortunately, due to Council regulations, dogs are not allowed to take part at this event.

As usual this review will be on our website where you can pay memberships £11 a year, 19p a week! Also you can now buy kit delivered to your door!

Please offer to help at your local parkruns especially if injured or racing the following day. It's a great way to stay involved and I hear Kev Budd has been known to buy the coffees at Great Salterns for volunteers.
