Steve O'Shea was up here for the Pompey game and became our 1st runner here. The official course description is pretty basic! The course consists of just a little over three complete tarmac laps around the park in an anticlockwise direction is all that is on the webpage!!

A total of 440 runners took part at Rushmoor parkrun event #333

Alex Gannon is our 2nd runner here after Tracy Strydom and now our fastest in what looks like a good time. In fact it's his 4th best in his 64 parkruns. The description is slightly more detailed than that of Barnsley! The course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths, park paths, canal tow paths and grass. .The course starts opposite the Army Rugby Stadium on Queens Avenue near the pedestrian crossing where the tarmac path leads towards the centre of the field. The course heads towards the edge of the sports fields near the Wavell School, then turns left and follows the boundary fence to the edge of the field. Going through a gap in the boundary fence, the course turns left and follows the pavement next to the A325 for around three quarters of a kilometre. Where the slip road off the Alisons Road slip road off the A325 starts, the course turns left and joins the Basingstoke Canal. Just before the canal goes under Queens Avenue, the course turns left again to rejoin the playing fields and then runs straight next to Queens Avenue, turning left just before the start for a second lap. On the second lap, carry straight on without turning left, staying on the right of the path to finish.

The course (all on tarmac) starts and finishes just above Millfield House near Pet’s Corner and runs through the dene on a path parallel to Red Walk. It follows a few left and right turns, taking you round to 21 steps and a steep hill up to Paddy Freeman’s Park. There is a big loop followed by a small loop of this park before descending a steep hill and back along the path to the finish.

A total of 78 runners took part at Belvoir Castle (near Grantham) parkrun event #33. A fairly new run which started almost the same week as Great Salterns.

Becci Knowles was 4th female although was taking into consideration her GNR the following day. She is our 1st runner here. Assuming it was this course:Summer Course - Footpath/trail terrain.

This will start and finish at the overflow car park opposite the Castle main (long stay) car park. This out and back, undulating stoney course follows the footpath and track up to the Reeded Cottage where it joins the Jubilee Way. At the cottage you will turn right and follow the Jubilee Way until you reach a distinctive twisted trunked tree on your left. You will turn here (look out for the stunning view of the Vale of Belvoir) and head back where you came from with a unique view of the Castle to enjoy.
