parkrun review 5th November 2022
A total of 71 runners took part at Great Salterns parkrun event #42
The wettest I've seen our local course but still some good times. Jo Wilkins was 3rd female finisher despite some trong ales the evening before. Kim Stroud was 5th female and Joanna Jo Parry 10th. Richard Walker was 7th male (8th best Age Grade). No PBs but a few not too far from their nest so well done in those conditions.
Thanks to the volunteers, who included many GoodGym members who do good deeds for the community. They do a regular litter pick on our course.

A total of 55 runners took part atWoolacombe Dunes parkrun event #134
This is one of the most difficlut if not the most difficult in the UK.
Gordon was 5th and 3rd Male and was around 3 minutes outside his recent Great Salterns time. His debut here makes him our fastest ahead of Becci Knowles. One continuous lap on a mixture of stone tracks, sand dunes and beach. This unique parkrun takes in stunning views of Woolacombe bay and beyond. It is an excellent opportunity to run amongst rich and diverse wildlife and habitats. Held on National Trust land within the North Devon AONB.
The route is mostly on sand and includes dune descent, ascent as well as long stretches on what can be sometimes soft sand.

A total of 645 runners took part at Nonsuch parkrun event #509.
Ian Briscoe made his debut here and is the fastest of current members.
This parkrun is a two lap run starting adjacent to the Mansion House towards the Avenue. The course is in Nonsuch Park, Cheam, Greater London. The course follows the tarmac road until the old Cherry Orchard Site (dog free recreation area). The couse then follows a grass track until the Mansion House is reached and this is the start of the second lap.
