parkrun review Christmas Day 2022

We begin at a muddy Great Salterns where 1st was a women who is an RD at East Brighton who only started running in her 40s, now 59 looking forward to her 60th and the next age group as she runs for GB Masters!

3rd was the Female Bronze Winter Olympic  medallist from 2002 in the Skeleton Bob!

Drumpellier Country parkrun
Gordon Scruton is our 1st runner here in 30th position in 21:23

The course is at Drumpellier Country Park, Coatbridge, Scotland. The course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths and trail paths.


Sandell Park, Doncaster
Becci Knowles was close to her 24th December time, 67th, 12th female in 26:49

Exeter Riverside
Robert Marsh is our 3rd runner here in 27:08

The course is at Exeter Quay & River Valley Park, Exeter. The course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths, gravel paths and grass.


Alex Gannon was at Higginson parkrun, Marlow and is our 1st runner here in 41st place in a time of 24:18
It  is a beautiful route alongside the banks of the River Thames on grass & trail paths. The course start and finish is located between the skate park and cricket pavilion. The course comprises of two anti-clockwise loops of the park followed by an out and back section along the Thames Path.course
Ian Briscoe ran here in a 29 sec PB of 22:31  Beckenham PB 0:29 

The course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths, gravel paths and grass. The course is a single lap covering a wide area of the park on both sides of the railway line.
The course begins at Beckenham Place Mansion, readily accessible from several directions. It is run on a mixture of gravel and tarmac paths and grass taking in open fields and woodland areas.

At  Fareham Sonny (35:02) & Shelley Locke (35:01) ran in 163rd and 162nd places

These are the only runs I am aware of as parkrun do not have a search facility for the Christmas and New Year's Day runs. Sorry if I have missed anyone.
