BFC Members parkrun review 18th March 2023
We begin at the nearest event to our base where a total of 47 runners took part at Great Salterns parkrun event #63
Conditions had worsened over the previous few days with a lot of rain. It was, however better than quite a few other occasions. Trail shoes still advised though.
John Bucketsofrain was 10th and had the 2nd best Age-Graded Percentage 71.82%. 4th, 5thy and 6th female finishers were Denise Courtney, Fiona Cfb and Ashleigh Moira (who was not far off her best time here). A special mention to Ashleigh's Mum, Louise Griffin who parkwalked in a very fast time of under 40 minutes.
Billy Jules Bilton was back from Hartlepool in his 2nd best time here.

A total of 72 runners took part at Bolberry Down parkrun event #78 (at Malborough, near Salcombe, Devon)
Course Description
Three flat laps using a grass trail around the back of the Down and then a mix of gravel and tarmac tracks along the cliff edge. Road or trail shoes are suitable; but not spikes. A very unique course, exposed to the elements, partly following the South West Coast Path. Offers stunning views along the coast and out to sea; land owned by the National Trust which lies within the South Devon AONB. The start and finish is close to the main car park.
Here, Becci Knowles was 5th female and our 1st runner here on what looks like a beautiful course.
