Course Description
The three-lap course starts and finishes at the circular tarmacked area near Akmal’s Tandoori Bistro, just up from the A660 Woodhouse Lane. It is run entirely on tarmac paths.
After the start, participants head to the roundabout on the diagonal path which bisects the park, heading anti-clockwise and exiting on the fourth path. At the end of this path, take a sharp right past the Queen Victoria statue and head clockwise around the park with a nice downhill towards the Robert Peel statue. There take a sharp right uphill, then the first left to take you to the start, continuing to the Queen Victoria statue and another lap. On the third lap, bear right past the start line to reach the finish.

Course Description
The parkrun route starts at the Andrew Carnegie statue. From the statue, the route heads towards the Louise Carnegie gates, turning right before the gates and heading down the path towards the Glen Pavilion which is the beginning of the 3 anticlockwise loops. There is a long downward slope to the bottom of the loop and a shorter uphill section. When reaching the Glen Pavilion at the end of the third loop the route heads diagonally to the right with the finish line straight ahead close to the play park. The route is scenic with views of Dunfermline Abbey and bridges of the River Forth in the distance. It is run fully on tarmac paths and takes in a number of Pittencrieff Park’s many attractions, including Pittencrieff House, woodland areas and the Glen Pavilion.
