A total of 106 runners took part at Sharpham Estate parkrun event #8
Jason made his debut at another Devon course and is our 1st runner here. The course is at Sharpham Estate, Totnes. The course is run on a mixture of permanent paths and trail paths. Out and back along the National Cycle Network 28 from Totnes towards Ashprington; turn around point is on the lower path leading to Sharpham House. There are spectacular views over the river, and distant vistas of Dartmoor. The narrow path is mainly tarmac with a short section of rough track, and it is very hilly in places. It is shared with cyclists, walkers, and dog owners. Trail shoes or road shoes are appropriate, no spikes.

A total of 195 runners took part at Torvean parkrun event #88. I was our 1st runner here in Inverness. This parkrun is on the former 18th hole of a golf course, replacing the  Inverness parkrun at nearby Bught Park which often flooded and is used for circuses, fairs etc, so often postponed.
Course Description
Two and a half laps on connecting inner & outer (predominantly trail) paths, starting on the inner path with the pond on the right-hand side and running clockwise. Permanent paths, not mud. I was pleased to get 6th in the Age percentages. I also was somewhat surprised to see the guy I'd seen at last week's run in Aviemore. He's doing all 66 Scottish parkruns from scratch and only started his running in October. The cafe used is at the nearby Botanic Gardens.

A total of 136 runners took part at the appropriately named Parke parkrun event #392
The course is in Parke Estate, near Bovey Tracey. The course is run on a mixture of trail paths, tarmac path and gravel cycle path. The start and finish area is on the private drive to Parke House. After 90m head off right down the stoney path past the meadow, at the gate head straight across the crossroads and after passing the big wooden shed turn left up the steep hill. Stay on this path until for about one kilometre and turn sharp right near the gate at the far end of the Parke property, follow the lower valley path for one kilometre back towards the cross roads. When you get back to the crossroads turn left which will take you over two bridges over the old mill stream and River Bovey.
On the other side of the second bridge continue straight ahead and take the path up onto the old railway line (Wray Valley Trail). Turn left along the trail for about 500m before taking a right up the hill into the trees. At the top of the hill turn right and follow the path all the way round dropping back onto the old railway before turning left and following it for 200m before turning right back over the bridges to the crossroads. Turn left through the gate and back up the stoney path finish line.

Course Description
An out and back course on Keswick Railway Path, from the bollards just after the old station to a turn-around at the iron bridge. The whole course is tarmac, quite flat for Keswick (!) and has great views of the river all the way. The last half mile should be really fast. Road running shoes are best suited.

Course Description
The course is undulating and consists of 2.5 laps on a clockwise route.

The course starts at the Bandstand Semi Circle open area. The course begins with a 100m gentle climb up to the main course, where it joins the loop around the Cenotaph Hill.

At the Cenotaph, take the right turn and descend towards the park gates. At the bottom turn right and head up and over another short gentle climb, at the second set of park gates turn right (marshaled) at the corner.

Run down the gradual descent passing the bandstand, putting green and children’s play area on your right. Follow the road around in a semi-circular route, passing the near shore of the lake and head back up, climbing towards the Cenotaph.

Halfway up the climb, take the second right hand junction and run a straight 200m, joining the loop around the Cenotaph hill and continue for another 1.5 laps.
