At Southsea parkrun a total of 491 runners took part including Katherine Newell on her fantastic 500th stint as a Volunteer. Ethan and Ryan, on his 50th parkrun, were close to their fastest here on a windy day (as usual?) In the Age-Graded Percentages, Mike Rae was 6th and I was 3rd. Quite a few of us had a coffee on the pier after.

Blandford parkrun
A total of 203 runners took part at Blandford parkrun event #401
Gemma ran for the first time since April on her 2nd run here.
Course Description
Starting under Jubilee Way bridge on the Blandford to Sturminster Newton trail way you head north keeping to the left at the Y junction and continuing along the trail way under the Bypass and then sharp left, continue past the barn then into the open until you meet a fence that cuts across the trail way, at this point you turn 180 degrees and return along the trail way to the finish near the start point. Note: no nearby toilets.

Great Salterns parkrun
A total of 68 runners took part at Great Salterns parkrun event #82
Lots to mention here: In the Age-Graded Percentages, John Bucketsofrain, Christine Mc and Jack Ingleby were 5th,6th and9th respectively. Jack ran a new PB by 35 secs in a great 3rd place. Christine was 2nd female only behind a Commonwealth Games athlete in a 1 minute PB and only 3 secs outside her Allparkrun PB.
Sam Winton was near his best time and Kevin Aylward Kevin Aylward ran a great PB and his fastest anywhere since July 2021.
