Brett's parkrun review 23rd September 2023

A total of 478 runners took part at Southsea parkrun event #452

Louise Griffin was 6th female finisher, Michael Rae had the 7th best Age Grade, Fiona Shaw had the 11th.

Near their best here in what is the 2nd last run on this course for a long time (or ever?) were Ian Briscoe, Gordon Scruton, James Yorke and Paul Daniel Norris, but Laura Hyman Olsen ran another PB, 1:01 and that is 1:46 off since August!

Description of the route

The route consists of 3 laps of a total of 5km on the gravel paths in Fælledparken in Østerbro, Copenhagen. It is very run-friendly.

As a participant, you must remember that there may also be other users on the trails. In order to ensure that we can continue to hold parkruns in Fælledparken, we encourage participants to take other users into account and let them get in the first row. Experience shows that it has very little (if any) influence on your personal record and helps everyone to continue to enjoy the Fælledparken parkrun.

Nikki Harris ran a 53 sec PB as 2nd female. I was 2nd male (highest ever) in my 2nd fastest time here and 2 secs outside my recent PB.

Clive Tucker (Maria Tucker) ran a 1:22 PB. In the Age Grades, I was 1st, John Bucketsofrain 3rd and Jason Smith 10th.
