A total of 149 runners took part at Cleethorpes parkrun event #413

A family weekend away was Helen's reason for running this event. Helen Mayhead is our 1st runner here.

Course Description

The course consists of three anticlockwise laps of the country park lake.

Starting at the yellow-topped post denoting access to the wheelchair-accessible fishing area, complete one simple lap of the tarmac path around the lake, crossing three bridges, keeping the lake to the left at all times.

For the second and third laps, after crossing the start line, bear right at the Y-junction, continue until a turn-around marked by a cone, before returning to the lake, crossing the bridge and running round the lake as before.

In total you will cross nine bridges, before finishing in front of the pigeon house by the car park.

Jack Ingleby was 5th equalling his PB, Alex Marathon ran a course PB by 34 secs, and in the Age-Graded Percentages, I was 3rd.

Sam Winton was near his best time here although the course has now got a bit more muddy. Maria Tucker was 6th female and Julie Allan Fuller 8th. Maria, you do not seem to have Baffins on your parkrun profile, so I nearly missed you off.

Thanks to the volunteers

We are very grateful to the volunteers who made this event happen: Lysanne BROOMFIELD, Ian GREGORY, Anthony JOHNS, Lynne JOLLEY, Kitty LI, Edward MORRIS, Brett RUMFITT, Sally RUMFITT, Jason SMITH, Jessica SMITH, Nigel SO, Clive TUCKER, Maria TUCKER, Robert TURNER-DIAMOND, Janice WELLSTEAD, Samuel WINTON, Lucy WOODS

Why not get involved and volunteer? This week (when I am Run Director), we still need another Timekeeper, another Tailwalker to keep my Sally (with her Devil's Tail) company and some Marshals. It is Hallowe'en so any fancy dress would be fun.
