Great Salterns parkrun
A total of 39 runners took part at Great Salterns parkrun event #95
The rain held off during the event, but many were put off by the general weather conditions recently.
Julie Allan Fuller was 1st female in her 100th parkrun and fellow 'boss' Helen Mayhead volunteered for the 100th time.
Alex Gannon, who wasn't far from his best on the course, Jason Smith and Craig Lunn were all in the top 10.
Kim Stroud was 3rd female, Maria Tucker 8th and Nikki Wright 10th.
Julie Allan Fuller was also 4th overall in the Age-Graded Percentages.
The guy who came down from Norwich running his 50th was very generous with his praise for the event, and absolutely loved the friendliness and encouragement.
For 4th November, we only need a couple of marshals, and I can do one of these if necessary. We may have more visitors as Southsea is cancelled due to large concrete sections of sea wall on the prom!

Course Description
1.5 laps (approximately) of the tarmac service road around the inside of the racecourse. Very flat, with few turns, making it a very fast course. On course map, start at green pin and head anti-clockwise round service road. Complete 1 full lap, then continue on round approximately another 1/2 lap to red Finish pin

Single lap course on a hardcore, purpose built, permanent track. The course is run entirely on wide fire trail paths.. Start and finish within a short walk (400yards) of the main car park.
