- Bretts Parkrun Roundup

Brett's mini parkrun review for Christmas Day 2023

by Brett Rumfitt

A shorter parkrun review for Christmas Day 2023.

This is because parkrun do not provide a consolidated list except for Saturday runs!!?. I have to search each one individually!

This is by no means comprehensive, but from what I know of those who visit other runs I have compiled this list.

At Sandall, Doncaster, Becci Knowles ran a 7 sec PB in 26:21.

Course Description

The course begins with a 500m stretch on tarmac around the lake, passing the finish on your right hand side. From this point it is 2 laps of the park, going onto the grass and following the perimeter of the park.

James Yorke 28:04 and Alex Yorke 59:44 became our 1st runners at Brynaman.

Course Description

This is an out & back course around a short section of slightly elevated grass bank, then along a tarmac path following the edge of the River Amman. The turn-point is on the approach to Nant Gwineu Road & returns along the same course, finishing at the rugby club. The majority of the course is flat with a slight incline onto a grass embankment near the start & finish.

Rob Robert Duncan Clayton contiued his parkrun comeback with 33:30 at Fareham.

Robert Marsh ran a 2:31 at Exeter Riverside. Jason also retains the fastest time here by a club member at 22:18.

Gordon Scruton debuted (& 1st BFC) at Erskine Waterfront. From what I can see it's near the Clyde near Paisley.Course Description

The course is an out and back course with a loop on a mixture of tarmac and gravel paths. The course starts and finishes in the same area on Erskine Waterfront adjacent to Kilpatrick Drive.
