Brett's parkrun review for 6th January 2024
A total of 41 runners took part at Great Salterns parkrun event #107
It's a great course for Cross-Country training especially for beginners.

Some of these were from GoodGym, who also did a course litter pick after. Thank you to them including Katie Carew-Robinson and Aoife Shovlin.
Why not get involved and volunteer? This coming Saturday we could do with someone to do the 1st timers brief, a few marshals, a token sorter after the event, and another scanner.
This was the occasion of Eric De Greef's 300th parkrun, but his bright leggings were outshone by those of Debbie Pentland!
The course was still a little wet but some parts had dried a little from New Year's Day.
Sam Winton was 2nd and near his fastest here and his highest ever finish, Alex Gannon 5th near his best time and Jason Smith 9th.
In the Age-Graded Percentages, John Bucketsofrain was 2nd and Jason Smith 7th.

he course is in The Forest Recreation Ground, Nottingham. The course is run on a mixture of tarmac paths, trail paths and grass.
Gordon Scruton is our 1st to run here. He was also our 1st (25:44) on New Year's Day at The Camperdown Country Park, Coupar Angus Road, Dundee, DD2 4TF, run on hard packed forest paths and short tarmac sections.

Robert Turner-diamond ran a 39 sec PB and Craig Lunn and James Yorke made their debuts. They had gone there really to collect mant Stubbington 10k numbers for fellow Baffineers.
The female 1st place I remember from the National Running Show in Farnborough a couple of years back, when Jason Smith and I were sat behind her and her husband and noticed their Stubbington Hoodies.
