A total of 46 runners took part at East Grinstead parkrun event #271
Course Description
This is an undulating course consisting of three laps (one small, two large), run in a clockwise direction. Lap one starts at the pavilion and circles the lower field, returning to the pavilion to begin the two large laps. Continuing in the same direction, having repeated the lower field, the course continues through a narrow wooded section before heading up the hill towards the Mansion House and circuiting the upper field.
The course then re-enters the wooded area and back to the pavilion for the start of the identical third lap, returning to the finish line adjacent to the pavilion.
Winter running - East Grinstead parkrun can become very muddy (it certainly looked it from the photos!) in winter months. We strongly advise all runners to wear appropriate footwear, ideally, trail shoes or spikes. Remember to take extra care especially when in the wet as the course can be slippery.
The course may not be suitable for buggies - please contact the team in advance for further advice on the course.
Louise Griffin was 2nd female and our 1st to run here.
