Medina I.O.W. parkrun (at Appley Park, Ryde while the IOW Festival site in Newport is recovering) It's a mile or so from the Hovercraft, but check the ties if you are going. It has grass, sand on prom, trails and hills!

I don't think Andy is a current member but here is the course.
Route description
The route (5km) is one full lap (approx. 3570m) and a straight with a U-turn after (approx. 715m) completing the distance. The route runs along an asphalt path. The elevation gain is insignificant. The whole is sheltered from the wind and does not interfere with vehicular traffic. However, you should pay attention to the nearby bicycle path and random walkers and passers-by. Distance indicators are spaced every 1 km. Electronic time measurement.

There was a large Vegan Runner meet here where Ashleigh Moira and Louise Griffin took debuted. They are now our club's 2 fastest. here
Course Description
The Summer route course is a two-lap, clockwise loop around the parkland between Langford Village and central Bicester. Starting and finishing by the middle bridge in the centre of the park with not a hill in sight.
Over the Winter we use an alternative course which consists of a two-lap course utilising the tarmac paths to avoid all grassed (muddy) areas. It is envisaged it will remain in place between approximately November to March, however the meeting point for the start is exactly the same.
The postcode for the start is OX26 6SX. Please see parking instructions below.

I hope to do a parkrun on 10th August even if I walk it! I would like my 400th to be at GS near my significant birthday on 17th!!!
