Brett's BFC Members parkrun review for 19th October 2024
On the day before the GSR was to have taken place, many rested and volunteered. However a total of 45 parkrunners took part at Great Salterns parkrun #147 including many visitors.
Paul Griffin was in the top 10 as was Robert Marsh.
James Collier (Becci Knowles) was the 1st past the post for the 5th time anywhere , but 1st time here.
John Bucketsofrain and Paul Griffin ware 2nd and 8th respectively in the Age-Graded Percentages.
I was surprised that 2 people said hello to me, who I'd chatted to 7 months ago at Mile End parkrun in East London! They are based in Maidstone but tour the south east.

The female winner is usually around my times in races, but I suspect I'm about a minute behind that at the moment. However we shall see.
