Brett's BFC Members parkrun review November 16th 2024
I make it 40 members took part at 11 different events.
A good total of 75 parkrunners took part at Great Salterns parkrun event #152 We had visitors from Seaton (Devon), Reading and a lovely group from Chichester who gave us a rave review. We also had a few walkers including Donna, the local Baffins Pond, Gt. Salterns and Milton Common Warden who I help on a Tuesday at the pond.
If anyone is able to help at Baffins Pond on a Tuesday 10am to noon (with free hot drinks and biscuits) please DM me for info. Also a Great Salterns volunteering session is fortnightly, same time on a Thursday.
Jack Ingleby was 1st again in his 3rd best course time here, Dad Paul Ingleby was 9th (7th male) in an 11 sec PB and also 7th in the Age Graded Percentages.
Yarian Slevin ran a very good PB by 1:36, Olivia Scammell was 7th female finisher in her best time here for some 2 years and Maria Tucker was 8th female and 10th in the Age Grades.

Course Description
Two laps on a mixture of trail and sand, completed in an anti-clockwise direction. The start and finish are close to the main car park, café and children’s play area.
