Brett's BFC Members parkrun review 22nd March 2025
I make it 40 members ran at 9 different events.
A total of 144 parkrunners took part at Great Salterns parkrun event #172
With Southsea being cancelled just 1 week after relocating to Speakers Corner we had a larger number here, with many Southsea regulars coming along including 2 of their RDs. I was RD for the day and enjoyed being a bit busier than usual but everyone helped out as always. It was good to be able to show GS to them when the course is in a dry condition and to see some familiar faces from when I used to run Southsea more often.
Yarian Slevinwas 8th and near his PB, Darren Linington ran his 1st here since December 23. Katherine Newell was a tailwalker and grabbed a PB by 1:03 with a short sprint finish!
Southsea will also be off tomorrow (29th) and possibly the following week.

Debuts here for Jack Ingleby in 1st place, (5th in Age Grades,and his 2nd fastest parkrun and Paul Ingleby , Ethan, James Yorke, Carrie Richardson Haunstrup and Ryan. Becci Knowles as 8th female finisher and Ian Briscoewere near their best times on this course.
I should be making my 2nd visit there tomorrow.
