Southsea parkrun
A total of 538 parkrunners took part.
Steven Parker, Yarian Slevin, Laura Richardson and Ryan Bendell were all within a minute of their best, with laura in 9th place and Steven in 6th place in the Age Grades. Keith Caunt was his fastest since August 2025.

Course Description
This is a 2 lap course on firm paths which starts and finishes in front of the mansion house. You run through lovely grounds but also see the motorway and Heathrow jets. The House and Gardens are worth a visit. I take our fastest time from Robert Brown. Helen Sarah, Nikki Wright and myself debuted. I was 8th in the Age Grades, 1 year after being here and nit fit to run it.

Course details
The course starts by heading towards the soccer field and running three laps around it. Then, you retrace your steps back towards the starting point, turn left along the way, go to the halfway point, and make a U-turn. After that, you return to the starting point. Once you reach the starting point, turn left, follow the road and turn right, pass under the bridge, and finish.

Course Description
The course consists of one lap in a clockwise direction on a mixture of gravel and trail through the forest.
The start and finish are approximately 10-15 mins walk from the main car park, café and toilets, so please allow time for this.
Trail shoes are advised during winter months or after periods of rain.
Due to the terrain the course is only suitable for purpose built running buggies.

Black Rocks parkrun
A total of 203 parkrunners took part.
Course Description
The course starts from the old railway boundary marker post next to the gate from the main Black Rocks car park and runs along the High Peak Trail. This is an out and back route.
Participants head north easterly towards High Peak Junction, turn and return to the start before heading in the opposite direction towards Middleton Top to turn and come back again. The route passes the historic High Peak Railway Engine House, the National Stone Centre and a stunning view across the Matlock Gorge. The final section of about 1km is an out and return heading in the direction of High Peak Junction, with the finish back at the start point.
The course consists of 3 out and back sections. For the safety of all participants and and other trail users, please keep to the left at all times.

Highcliffe Beach parkrun

Course Description
Highcliffe Beach parkrun is a scenic and mostly flat two lap course with fantastic views across the Solent towards the Isle of Wight. The route is run on a combination of mixed hard gravel paths, shingle with some sandy patches. Participants need to keep left at all times as it is a two lap course with sharp turn points and overtaking.
Starting at Chewton Bunny Nature Reserve heading towards the beach. A right turn takes participants along the path towards the east turnpoint at approx 1.3km. The course then heads back east along the beach path. After 500m, participants will be guided up a compacted gravel path onto a higher level. After 300m,a marshal will guide participants back down towards the beach path to the west turn point for the second lap. The course finishes with a slight downhill gradient on the upper level.
