Southsea parkrun
A total of 488 parkrunners took part.
Christine Mc was 1st female again. and in the Age Grades was 7th, Steven Parker was 11th and I was 18th of 488. Laura Richardson ran a great 3sec PB and was the 15th best Age Grade.
Again Yarian Slevin and Steven Parker were not far from their PBs and neither was Harrison Richards.

Antrim parkrun (N. Ireland)

Course Description
The course starts at the Loughshore Park and follows the bitmac path alongside and crosses over the Six Mile Water river at Deer Park Bridge.
Hard Left, to then complete TWO CLOCKWISE laps of Antrim Castle Gardens - follow the signs and directions of marshals.
Return via the same footbridge and bitmac path as before, on to the finish area at the Loughshore Park.

Newbiggin-by-the-Sea parkrun
A total of 121 parkrunners took part.
Course Description
A 2 lap course around the Bay, Promenade and Milburn Park area's of Newbiggin-by-the-Sea. Predominantly on tarmac paths with a few short sections of grass.
The event starts on the Prom near The Maritime Centre then heads south towards the Needles Eye end of the Bay. From the Prom exit right at the second ramp and head along the cycle track at Beach Terrace then do a clockwise loop around Milburn Park (old tennis course). Leaving Milburn Park, head back along Beach Terrace, down the ramp and back onto the Prom. Continue along the Prom to the sailing club then turn and do another lap. The finish is on the Prom beside the Old Ship.
Billy Jules Bilton strayed further north from his Hartlepool base for a 1st run here by the coast.

Higginson parkrun, Marlow

Course Description
Higginson parkrun, Marlow is a beautiful route alongside the banks of the River Thames. The course start and finish is located between the skate park and cricket pavilion. The course comprises of two anti-clockwise loops of the park followed by an out and back section along the Thames Path.
Due to the width of the course we don't allow dogs or double width buggies. If you wish to participate with a single buggy please contact the team in advance for any additional information about the conditions of the route.

Newark parkrun

Course Description
The course starts with a 200m initial straight before turning right and beginning 3 anticlockwise laps of a loop. The run starts on the Tarmac paths leading down to the nature reserve area which consists of a soft bark path. The barked path then leads onto a tarmac path which goes up a short hill. Runners and walkers then follow the tarmac path round football pitches to a 50m stretch of bark path, before returning to tarmac and back to the start of the loop. After finishing the 3 laps you then follow the initial straight back to finish.
Becci Knowles grabbed a top 10F place and a 15 sec PB on her 3rd visit here.

Pokkinen parkrun (in Finland with 14 bridges!)
A total of 37 parkrunners took part.
Course Description
The start and finish are in Pokkisenpuisto. The route is flat and runs on asphalt and sand. There are 14 bridges on the route, one of which runs over a dam.
The start and finish are at Pokkisenpuisto. The route is an out-and-back course with a small detour in the back part of Ainolanpuisto. The route is mostly flat and has a mixture of gravel and pavement. Participants will follow the "fish road", crossing 13 Bridges and 1 Dam throughout the Oulu River delta.
