Levengrove parkrun (Dumbarton, where there is a spectacular-looking football ground)
A total of 138 parkrunners took part including Gordon Scruton for the 5th time. Our fastest is Paul Osborne 20:23.
Course Description
The route consists of three anti-clockwise laps of Levengrove Park, run entirely on tarmac. The course starts and finishes close to the new pavilion. It is an undulating course passing the main attractions of the park as well as running alongside two rivers. There is one sharp downhill section which should be taken with care.

Course Description
The course is a 2 and a bit lapper entirely on grass and open scrubland. The course starts adjacent to the prison wall before turning left and uphill (past the Linford Christie stadium on your right) to the middle section of the park. From here it goes past the copse of trees before turning left and passing them on the opposite side and heading right, downhill, towards the hairpin turn. A left turn at the hairpin takes you through a tree-lined area and past the adventure playground, before a left takes you back to the main part of Scrubs. From there it's downhill and a left turn to the prison wall and back to the start. After doing the course a second time, you complete the course by continuing uphill (past the Linford Christie Stadium) and turning right to the finish line.
