Course Description

The course consists of two laps: participants complete a partial circuit of Malling Recreation Ground before heading up the old railway cutting for an out-and-back section. Upon their return to the start, this loop is repeated.

Due to the nature of the terrain, parts of the course may become waterlogged or very muddy, making it harder for people with buggies/pushchairs - please contact the team in advance for further information.

Course Description

Chelmsford Central parkrun is a one-lap course taking you through the three main parks in Chelmsford. You will follow established tarmac foot and cycle paths running by the River Can to Admirals Park. After a loop around Admirals Park you return to Central Park to finish. The course is 80% tarmac and 20% grass.

Tilgate parkrun (Crawley)

A total of 531 parkrunners took part.

Course Description

The course is like a figure of 8 consisting of a lap of the lake (approx 1500m), followed by a lap of the park (approx 2000m) before finishing with another full lap of the lake (approx 1500m).

Heading north past the boathouse, you run clockwise around the lake on a solid path with a few gravel areas taking the high path over the dam continuing around Tilgate lake. After passing between the 2 lakes turn right to continue around Tilgate lake, after approx 100m turn left up the middle path, at the top of this path turn right towards the Smith and Western Restaurant. Go up the ramp, rather than the steps and onto Tilgate Drive. Head down the service road between the bollards, turning left at the bottom onto a short off road section past Titmus lake. From here you head up the chevron path towards the Walled Garden. It is a short, sharp incline. Please keep to the right if you need to walk. Take care at the top as you cross the service road and follow the path taking you around the front of the Walled Garden. From here the path takes you down Azalea hill, back to the path between the lakes, turn left going past the finish and complete 1 further lap of Tilgate lake and then on to the finish on the left.
