Cirencester parkrun

Course Description
A flat, scenic 3 lap clockwise course around the grounds of the Royal Agricultural University. Starting near the main car park, the route follows a grass path around a field and orchard before running parallel with the Tetbury Road. The route then heads North alongside the main driveway and around the playing fields before returning towards the car park.

Melton Mowbray parkrun

Course Description
This alternate route is an out-and-back course around the stunning Melton Country Park, with participants keeping to their left at all times. The start is 200m from the car park by the large wooden bridge. Participants will head anti-clockwise from the start over an undulating course on a mix of tarmac and dirt paths before turning around at the bottom of "40 Oaks" and heading back the way they came. Participants will pass by open water and through a small car park in both directions. The finish is a short uphill through a small forest section, ending right next to the cafe and the car park.

Wilton Lodge Park parkrun

Course Description
A two lap course, starting at the War Memorial, outside Hawick Museum, in Wilton Lodge Park.
From the start, the course follows the perimeter of the park passing statues of Bill McLaren and Jimmie Guthrie. It continues around the pitches at the bottom end of the park before following the banks of the River Teviot, passing the Pump Track and the Pavillion Café. The course continues beside the banks of the river until reaching the Laurie Bridge (silver arched bridge) where it takes a tight left bend and heads back towards the startline. The course continues around the perimeter of the park a second time.
Upon reaching the Laurie Bridge for the second time the course crosses the bridge, onto the other side of the River Teviot before turning right for a wide finishing straight with the finish line opposite the Pavillion Café.
The course is entirely on tarmac paths which vary in width narrowing towards the bottom end of the park. The paths are generally smooth but can be bumpy in places due to tree roots and can be slippery with leaves and other debris throughout the year.
