I was RD for the 26th time. There were visitors from Winchester, Thurles in central Ireland and Bradley Stoke, 1 mile from where I was brought up north of Bristol.

For 29th we still need another Timekeeper and another Barcode Scanner if you can help please. The Scanner can hop on after running if finishing in around 25 minutes.

Course Description

We start on the green above the car park at Appley Park.

We do a loop of the green, then pick up the path at the top of the green, and follow it all the way to the promenade. We turn left, and left again to follow the path that runs through the small copse. At the end of that path, we turn right and head back to the promenade. We then turn right and run all the way along the promenade, with the beach huts on our right, until we reach the end. We then turn right, and right again to run back through 'The Moat'. At the end of 'The Moat', we head back along the promenade until we reach 'The Big Hill'. We turn left and run up the hill. We head to the end of that path and finish with a second loop of the green, this time in the opposite direction to before.

Gnoll parkrun (Neath)

A total of 159 parkrunners took part.

Course Description

The course is in the grounds of Gnoll Country Park and is on tarmac and trails. Participants meet at the visitor centre and walk to the start which is at the far side of the lake.

The course consists of three laps; one small, one medium and one large lap. Lap 1 is a clockwise loop of the lake. Lap 2 is a loop of the lake followed by a trail around the old Gnoll house "ruins". Participants return to the lake for lap 3. On this final lap, participants ascend a short hill before returning down to the lake followed by a second time around the ruins. The finish is at the visitor centre.
