Kingston parkrun
Course Description
The event starts in the green space between Burnell Avenue and the River Thames, at the boundary between Kingston and Richmond, W3W ///space.cases.goes.
The first 500m of the course is on grass and then onto the upper cycle path to Teddington lock with the river on your left. At the lock you run under the footbridge and continue on the towpath, pass Thames Young Mariners. Keep left and continue until you see a marshal at the half way point, who will direct you onto a small loop within Hamlands (this will be marshalled/marked or both). This will bring you back out onto the towpath at Thames Young Mariners. From there you follow the outward route back to the Hawker centre with the river on your right. Continue past the starting area and run for approximately 300m and the finish funnel is just off the path. The finish is close to the main car park. Nearest postcode KT2 5BH. Well done, enjoy and be safe.
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed at this event.

A rare wet parkrun this year and in fact only the 7th rainy one of my 484!

Flatts Lane parkrun (Normanby, Middlesbrough)
Course Description
An undulating 2 lap course on well-established paths and tracks around Flatts Lane Woodland Country Park. Starting close to the Visitor Centre, the route heads along the old railway before heading through the woods back to the Visitor Centre and the start of the second lap. On completion of the second lap the finish is clearly visible in front of the Visitor Centre.
A steep hill up a gravel path and some low steps descending to the visitor centre make this a challenging course for buggies.
Trail shoes recommended, especially in wet weather.
A total of 42 parkrunners took part.
Helen Sarah ran here for the 1st time and was 4th female finisher. She is also our 1st here.

Course Description
The course begins on the central path in the Park by the Watsonian Pavilion, turning to join the path that circles the Park.
The course consists of two and a half clockwise laps before finishing on the central path outside the Watsonian Pavilion.
Jack Ingleby and Paul Ingleby were 1st and 7th on their debuts here in Leeds. They were also 2nd and 3rd in the Age Grades and our 1st runners here.

Thames Path parkrun, Woolwich
A total of 287 parkrunners took part.
Course Description
The event takes place on the Thames Path between Woolwich Arsenal Pier and Gallions Reach Park.
The course starts on the lower Thames Path level with the long abandoned T-Jetty (w3w: ///jumps.seats.sits) heading east before entering Gallions Reach Park. The start of the course is a 5 minute walk from the meeting point in James Clavell Square.
In Gallions Reach Park head up to the turnaround point on the top of the mound. Retrace your route back down the mound and out of the park heading west along the upper Thames Path, finishing at Woolwich Arsenal Pier.
The route is on paved, tarmac and mud paths.
As much of the course is ‘out and back’ participants are advised to keep to the left hand side of the paths.
Please note whilst single buggies are welcome we are unable to accommodate double buggies.

Victoria Park parkrun, Newbury
A total of 293 parkrunners took part.
Course Description
We meet near the start area by the skate park for our pre-event briefings. We then have a short walk to the start area. We start on the path that cuts through the park and end very close to where we started. The course covers a 2-lap, anti-clockwise route winding its way around Victoria Park and out to the football club. On each of the two laps you will head out of the park to the football club and do two circuits of the pitch then return to Victoria Park. There are brief contraflows where we pass under the A339 bridge and again as we return to the starting straight. The surfaces are a mixture of rough grass, dirt track and tarmac path. It is a flat course through an urban park with plenty of twists and turns.

Course Description
This spectacular harbourside 2 lap course starts on the wooden boardwalk at South-western side apron of Pirrama Park. The course heads northeast along the wharf before turning in the north eastern section of Pirrama Park. The course then heads south along the shore before turning on the foreshore just before the Anzac Bridge and back towards the start. The course is repeated for a 2nd lap, but on the return finishes on the grass near the start.
