Monday's Official Run Night
It’s all about Mondays! Monday is our one and only official club run night although you will find smaller groups of baffineers running most days (see non-official club runs).
We meet at the Baffins Community Centre from 6.30pm. Whatever your pace or ability we all start and finish together and run a similar route. Running starts at 7.00pm (from the pond in the summer) and lasts approximately an hour. We have 12 different groups on a Monday catering for everyone from our walking group right through to our superfast runners! Groups are based on pace rather than distance, to keep runners of similar ability together and make sure everyone gets the most of the session with ample time to warm up and down.

Please note: We are now operating our winter routes. Surface: Road - Tarmac. Reflective clothing. Lights, Head Torches Required. Route Maps are a guideline. Distances and routes may vary.

New to 2019, our BFC walking group. Led by our coach Kate, routes vary depending on the weather and time of year etc but take in the sites of Baffins! You’ll start with our other groups at the pond and walk out for 20/25 mins and then back to the Centre to finish completing a couple of miles. Great exercise, fresh air and good company!

A very gentle 2 mile jog (walk if needed) for beginners. Plenty of encouragement and banter guaranteed! Out and back route up to the Eastern Rd to speed cameras.
Buffalo Bills 5k

Approx Distance: 5k / 3.1 miles
A nice slow steady 5k jog aimed at beginners and those who have completed c25k. Winter route along the Eatern Road to East Shore Way estate and back.
Terri's Chocolate Oranges
( 5k+ )

Approx Distance: 5k - 3.5 miles
A slightly faster 5k for improving runners. Winter route along Eastern Rd left up Eastern ave. Left again up Salterns ave and cut through back to East Shore Way and eastern Rd.

Approx Distance: 3.5 - 4 miles
A great group for those comfotable with 5k and looking to up their game. You’ll complete about 3.5 - 4 miles with our lovely Lee. The main route takes you all the way along eastern Rd to the Good Companions. Up Moorings Way, left along Shore Avenue, 2nd left Salterns Ave, Right Eastern Ave and then Eastern Rd and back home to Centre.

A good steady paced 4.5 mile with Uncle Kev! Out along Eastern Road to Good Companions, Moorings Way. Turn right onto Godwit Ave and follow round back onto Moorings Way and same route home.
