As it's nearly parkrun Saturday again, it's high time I reviewed last week's Baffins performances (28th August).

Becci Knowles ran for the 1st time here and it was her 4th best anywhere. All her best 5 parkruns have come since the return of parkrun in July. Becci Knowles is now the 3rd fastest BFC lady here.

Finally at Southsea, I volunteered and had a great time by the pier cheering everyone on. Also met a family who I tried to recruit and a local runner who had never heard of parkrun!!!!????
If you haven't volunteered, please do, it's great fun and a good way of staying involved if you cannot run for any reason. I also got a free coffee!
Caitlin John Burchett ran her 2nd PB in a row since the restart beating her last week's time by 16 secs.
Fiona Shaw continues to run superbly and also got another PB, her 3rd since the restart taking a massive 25 secs of her time of 14th August. She was also 9th female finisher. In the age-graded times she was third behind 2 exceptional athletes, over 80% which is National Class. Ian Briscoe (2nd fastest) and Kam Fan (5th fastest) were not far off their best here.
