Southsea parkrun
A total of 472 parkrunners took part.
Here there was a plethora of PBs and other fast performances. Carrie Richardson Haunstrup ran an 11 sec best, Ashleigh Moiraa 6th female, a massive 1:30 PB so soon after her Marathon too, Craig Lunn a 13 sec PB, and Ian Briscoe, Robert Marshand Sean Reeve were all near.
Paul Griffin was 16th best Age Grade out of 472 participants.

Lancing Beach Green parkrun

Course Description
Out and back route on part grass/part concrete coastal path with start and finish on the green outside the Perch café. Approximately the first kilometre is out and back on the grass, then up a short steep incline and onto the flat concrete coastal path for the remainder.
Myself, Helen Sarah and Nikki Wright all debuted here on the prom. I was 4th in the Age Grades in my best time(so far) in 2026. A rarity for me as I take our record from Jason Smith (22:07). Our fastest female runner is now Nikki Wright

Jack Ingleby was 1st again, very near to his PB and 2nd in the Age Grades. Yarian Slevin was 4th, 6th in Age Grades and near his best. Paul Ingleby was also top 10 in 5th and 4th Age Grade. Steve Cross was near his best too and it was also good to see Lisa Cross after a long time.
