Fartlek is an intervals session. Fartlek, which means “speed play” in Swedish and is basically periods of fast running mixed with periods of slower running. We carry out various drills over 25m distances. we work on sprints, posture and cadence. The session is open to all and it has helped many of our members improve their parkrun times. The sessions are taken by our qualified run leader and coach Kev Budd.
