A total of 400 runners took part at a very windy Southsea parkrun event #283. The westerly wind certainly made it a run of 2 halves. For instance my split time was 9:56/11:23 . Not surprisingly no PBs today but Alanna Burchett ran her 3rd fastest parkrun and was 4th lady.

There were a couple of other races over the weekend. Stephen Wroe ran the Worthing Half in a good 2:01:43.
Also at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London Dean Schubert, Kevin Rowsell, Maria and Katie Rowsell, Steve Cross and Lisa, and Chris Mathews and Tina ran the Half Marathon. The results are for race pos, net pos, time, chip time, category, cat pos, net cat pos, gender pos and net gender pos! Quite thorough! Well run. Chris Mathews aggravated an injury early on and Tina ran with him. We all hope he is fully fit soon. Some great runs here with first Halves for Maria and Katie.
