Beginning overseas in Oslo, where a total of 57 runners took part at Tøyen parkrun event #64. Olivia Scammell was 9th female to finish here and boyfriend Spencer was 9th overall.

A total of 305 runners took part at Southsea parkrun event #288. Lee Collier-Williams ran a 1:39 PB here continuing his great form. Fiona Shaw also kept up her recent series of good times. Clarke Morris ran a 3:22 PB coached by Cat Underwood! I understand it was even windier than the previous week. Run Britain (you can sign up here with your parkrun ID and have Baffins as your club) certainly thought so as they gave it a 4.0 difficulty rating compared with the week before getting 3.4. Finally a bit of trawling around showed that Dan Slayford won the Salisbury parkrun in 18:01.
We also had runners at races on Sunday including the Fleet Half including Emma Jolley (who got just over 1:20:00, 4th woman of 898 and 3rd in Vet 35 age) and that was enough to get into a Veterans event for Britain later in the year and Bath Half where Lisa (2:14:58) and Steve Cross (1:55:10) ran in a race won by GB top runner Chris Thompson. Gemma Hoare was at the Reading Half. Official confirmed results are not on Run Britain yet.
Great running everyone as we approach some big Marathons at Manchester, Brighton, Southampton and London.
