Parkrun 4th May 2019
Parkrun report from Saturday May the 4th (Star Wars day)Whilst I was away in North Wales with Bird Club, Baffineers were attending 7 different events.A total of 561 runners took part at Swindon parkrun event #447. This was Ben's 4th best time of 18 here.

A total of 516 runners took part at Southsea parkrun event #295. Denyse King was running her 150th parkrun. Emma Jolley was 1st lady after her sub 3 hour London marathon the week before.Claire Baker (2nd in age-group) ran an impressive parkrun debut and Jordan Bettina ran a 0:17 PB in only her 3rd parkrun. Fiona Shaw (1st in age group) continued her great sequence of times with her 2nd fastest ever here out of 73 and nest since June 2016. Keith Caunt ran a similar time and that was his 5th best of 163. Tracy Kyle ran a 0:26 PB, Paul Griffin a 0:07 PB finally nailing a sub 21:00 (an All-parkrun PB too). Mahjooba Rahjo also ran an APPB by 2:33. Darren Linington's time was his best of the year and Rebecca Niles time was her fastest since January 2019.

A total of 203 runners took part at Street parkrun event #55. I failed to get to this parkrun on my previous Bird Club weekend in Somerset last Autumn despite staying in nearby Glastonbury. However Kirsty Williams did manage to run here, a Baffins Fit Club first.
