Here's this week's parkrun review for Saturday 1st June 2019:Firstly the Yorkes in Yorkshire! A total of 167 runners took part at Cliffe Castle parkrun event #39, a newish parkrun on paths in a park in Keighley.

A total of 321 runners took part at Portsmouth Lakeside parkrun event #161. Dave Ollie Oliver got another 0:01 PB and Steve Cross got second APPB in a row to follow on from last weeks Southsea best. This was 0:25 better than his previous Lakeside best and 0:07better than last week's Southsea time. Great times both of you. It was good to see Lee Collier-Williams back too.

A total of 152 runners took part at QE parkrun no. 321
Paul Griffin (0:52) and Louise Griffin (0:47) smashed their PBs here. Louise was first female finisher and 9th best age-graded time. They are now both in the top 10 times for us at this hilly course where we will be going in numbers at the end of the month. Southsea parkrun is cancelled on 29th June due to Southsea Rowing Regatta.

Dan Slayford won Southampton parkrun in 16:37, a time he has only bettered in parkrun at Southsea in April. Dan won by an incredible 1:16 in an event attended by 1,055 runners!
A total of 449 (37 Baffins) runners took part at Southsea parkrun event #299. Volunteers included Katherine Newell, Andy Seek, Liam John Bradshaw at the turn point and Loisa Hayward.
PBs were achieved by Fiona Shaw (2 in a row) 0:10, Claire Baker 0:24, Richard Stevens 1:06, Mathew Hume 0:43 and Maxine Kim Priddle made her debut. Ricky Smith was only 0:03 outside his best.In the age-graded times Michael Rae was 14th, Fiona Shaw 6th and I just pipped Fiona in 5th.Her turn next week!
