Greetings! Here is my parkrun review for Saturday 13th November 2021.
A total of 333 runners took part at Oxford parkrun (grass, narrow paths & tarmac) event #440. Not sure if Martyn Threader was here too but Andy has now got an 'O' in his alphabet collection.

John Bucketsofrain , Rebecca Niles (9th female) and Dave Rees-Whelan all were just off their fastest times in another breezy run.
*I have corrected my time to what both my Garmin and the RD told me was the time I crossed the line. I think people going through the finish, not wanting a time and not taking tokens and/or not being scanned messed things up. It is possible that they may do this as they don't want the times to be automatically put on their Run Britain rankings as they didn't run as fast as expected. They want to protect their handicaps. Ironically, it made mine 21 secs slower and will make my handicap higher and I can't stop this! Rant over.
Anyway I would still have been 7th, and Michael Rae 9th in the Age-Graded times which is consolation enough.

Finally total of 229 runners took part at Doddington Hall (Lincoln) parkrun event #25. It is entirely on tarmac paths.
Becci Knowles is our 1st ever runner here and was 9th female. Her annoyance at equalling her PB at Southsea last week was well and truly dissipated as she took 8 secs off that time in a great run.

Great to catch up with you at Southsea for a coffee after and also at the People's Memorial on Sunday, seeing members wearing their medals. Remember that volunteering is a great way to keep the social side going if injured or racing the following day and this report will be on our website where you can also pay your membership fees at £11.00 a year, 19p a week!
