parkrun review 18th September 2021
Hi everyone. Before I post the parkrun review for 18th September, we have the exciting news that club memberships are now live on our website at https://baffinsfitclub.co.uk/

So, we begin in Surrey where 363 runners took part at Guildford parkrun event #397
Andy kept up his tourism. Susie Tebbutt is the only other BFC runner to have run this one which is a mixture of grass and tarmac near Guildford City's football ground.

Mercede Alcina Pannozzo ran her 8th successive PB here, this time by a massive 25 secs, paced by the ever-helpful Michael Rae
Mercede and Laura Richardson were 5th and 7th female finishers respectively. Laura Richardson, Craig Lunn, Steven Parker and Kam Fan were not far off their best times. Damien O'Neill made a good debut and Vicky Cooper ran an 11 sec PB after some recent promising times.
I was 7th best age-graded time on my 299th parkrun. Billy Jules Bilton, Alice Bird and Katherine Newell were among the volunteers. Please think about volunteering as there are many roles and if you are injured or racing the next day, it's a great way to payback and stay involved. With the Pieces of 8 and RNLI 10k on 3rd October it's an opportunity to help out on Saturday 2nd.
It was good to see Darren Linington and Richard Twoseback too. Helen Mayhead ran her fastest canine run with help/hindrance from Ziggy!
